Welcome to Pioneer Field, the Stadium here in the LEGO City. The Stadium is home to the Pioneers, the football team. The Pioneers are an independent team, vying to become a team in National Football League. They play about 200 games a year, which amounts to 50 home games a year. The Pioneers season starts on July 20th, and the first home game is normally just after Labor Day. The home dates are split between here and Agarwal Field at The LEGO City of Chris Fortier at Harrisonburg. The Stadium holds 235,000 of the Pioneers most loyal fans. Tickets sell out for each game rather quickly. There are a wide range of seats you can buy at the box office. You can buy luxury boxes, located on the top level of the stadium for about $3500 a game. On the middle level, tickets range from $35.75-$250.00, while on the bottom level, tickets range from $50.00 to $505.00. Pioneer Field was originally built in January 1996 and held 92,000. Since then, there has been a ten-phase renovation to where it seats 235,000 today, with 75 luxury skyboxes and a party deck on top of the stadium overlooking Plateau Park, the Vengas Mountains and the Suburbs.

The entrance to Pioneer Field is marked with the original sign that was posted on the stadium in 1996 when it opened. Even through ten phases and two years of renovations after its opening, the sign is still misspelled. This is sort of an oddity and it has been kept that way to keep the original character of the stadium, unique and alluring.

Mezzane Seating below, luxury boxes above. These levels seat approximately 150 and 250 feet above the field level. The overhang factor, while looming, does not prevent fans watching from the higher seats not to see parts of the action. The field is positioned well enough to allow people in these seats enough viewing channels between their seats and the playing field. Below the Mezzane Level is the Field level which connects directly with the playing field.

Both Field and Mezzane levels seat 115,000 fans while the luxury boxes have space for 5000 of the Pioneers' biggest benefactors. These benefactors keep their luxury seats for one year.

What else is here at Pioneer Field? Well, when the Pioneers are enjoying their Summer Vacation, the city's baseball team, the Colonials, take to the field. Even though 229,000 seats can be converted into baseball seats, the team still has 175,000 of their best fans coming through the turnstiles to watch America's pastime. The Colonials play about 175 games a year, mostly during summer months of May, June, July, August, and September The team does have hopes of joining either the National or American Leagues in the near future.

The party deck in the southwest corner of the stadium is the life of the stadium before and after the game. Those with luxury boxes can reserve the deck before and/or after games for a minor fee. The deck has room for about 15 guests and is shaded from the harmful rays of the sun and the drops of the rain. The party deck usually opens about four hours before game time and is open about three hours after the game.

What about Soccer (In Europe, referred to as football)? When the Pioneers and Colonials are not playing, the soccer team, the Morphokickers, is tearing up the field. Attendance at these games runs about 227,000 people. Someday, the Morphokickers hope to become part of MLS.

This trophy represents the first Universal Sports League World Football Championship that the Pioneers won in 1997. Since then, they have won another three in 1998, 1999, and 2000. This trophy sits atop of the West Luxury boxes and visible from nearly every place on the Antoine Level.
