Drowning In My Dreams
Drowning in my dreams,
Living in a fantasy,
Wanting what I can't have,
Wishing you would come to me.
Love so strong it hurts,
I can't show you how I feel,
And words are never enough,
I only wish it could be real.
I don't know how to stop,
What I feel in my heart,
I wonder if it would be different,
If we weren't so far apart.
A lonliness fills my soul,
Only you could stop the pain,
You're the only one I want,
I wish you felt the same.
I would walk a lifetime,
Just to see your smile,
And just to feel your touch,
I'd walk that extra mile.
I don't want to be touched,
Unless it's by your hand,
I don't want to be kissed,
By any other man.
Drowning in my dreams,
With a patient heart I wait,
Will this love survive?
What will be its fate?
