JESS says: words are your friends. use more of them.

Name: Gillian
Age: 18 to 24
Response: Not to know. Otherwise, your last week would end up being like a long-distance phone call, where you want to say all these big, important things, and you forget that the little things are the big, important things.

JESS says: sniff... it's so true.

Name: Amanda
Age: 18 to 24
Response: I would want to know so I could make my last few days as worthwhile as possible.

JESS says: you can just come out and say it. you'd get it onnnnnnn....

Name: You'll never guess
Age: Under 18
Response: I would want to know but not for closure of saying good-bye, religion business, or last regrets. I say that closure is not possible. Since for it to truely work the world would have to end. Therefore with closure being nonexistent what is the point of knowing? Especially if you are already trying to live life to the fullest. Answer there is none other than the one the only thrill that no one has ever lived to describe, that is knowing you will die as you go through the final moments of life. This is THE greatest thrill and a wonderful way to live life to the fullest. Since you will be spending your final moments fruitfully experiencing it in knowledge rather than ignorance. This is what I would consider true peace ultimate knowledge. Question for the philosopher: how could one consider dying without knowing it peaceful? Bam! you enter whatever happens after our life here and begin there with no warning, how could that be peaceful?

JESS says: um. i want to eat your spicy brains.

Name: Claire Patterson
Age: Under 18
Response: It would be better to know because I could develop spiritually and get things done and be able to die happy.

JESS says: if you're going to save spiritual development for the last week of your life, your dying ass is going to have its work cut out for it.

JESS says: or maybe RIGHT before you die... AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH..... SPLAT.

Name: Rachel
Age: Under 18
Response: I would want to know because I would want my family to feel closure. I would not want them to feel like they didn't have the chance to say goodbye and I'd want them all to know I love them.

JESS says: aw. maybe you should call your mom right now. BECAUSE I'M IN YOUR HOUSE AND I HAVE A KNIFE.
