We are conducting a study concerning the relationship between trauma exposure and social support on the internet. The purpose of the study is to understand the connections between these variables. Before agreeing to take part in the study, please be aware that:

  1. In this study you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire battery that will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
  2. Taking part in this study is completely voluntary and you have the right to discontinue your participation at any time.
  3. You must be at least 18 years old to take part in this study.
  4. Your reponses are private and will remain confidential. At no time will your name be associated with your responses to this questionnaire.
  5. Completion and submission of the questionnaire constitutes informed consent to use the data.
  6. If you have any questions or concerns, please email one of the researchers or contact Dr. Dean Lauterbach in the Psychology Department at (318) 357-5453.
  7. You also have the right to request results from this study. If you would like a summary of this study's results, you can either place your permanent address below, or visit Northwestern State University's home page . Results will also be available at at this homepage.
