BCHS TEEN WELLNESS CENTER

The Wellness Center is a joint project of The Greenhead Health District and Family Planning, which operates under the umbrella of the School Board. The general idea of the Wellness Center is to meet the physical and social needs of the students and the public in general, and to put people in touch with the appropriate services, if required. The specific goal is to decrease unwanted pregnancies and the occurence of sexually-transmitted diseases by encouraging healthy lifestyle choices. By working with the staff and the care providers in the community, we're here to increase awareness, decrease depression and emergency interventions, to help increase people's problem solving abilities.
