So what does an ork believe in, anyway? I can't speak for any others
of my kind, as an ork stands on his own two feet, but here's my take.
Real simple. Don't go. Let them strut up and down in their bedsheets and pointy hats to a total lack of audience. Let them spew their vitriol to an empty street.
I grew up in the South. When forced busing was started the KKK took over Dixie Highway in front of the high school, and built bonfires on the median. The tear gas rolled for blocks when the National Guard was finally brought in. How did I deal with it? I found other places to be until the dust settled.
Racism is a terrible thing, but the best way to get rid of it is to completely and blatantly ignore it. As long as no overtly illegal acts are performed by the racist, such as striking a person, ignore them. Let them stew in their own juices and die alone and friendless.
Also, the KKK is dying. It's a smaller group now than it's ever been
in its history. The real threat are the militant right-wing groups, the
neo-Nazis and the militias and such, that don't wear bedsheets, that don't
do public protests, that keep a low profile. The real enemy is the one
you're not seeing. Be alert. Be aware. Know what it is you're dealing with,
and when it's safe to ignore and when you should be doing community education
and community solidarity work. The best defense against these people is
a willingness to stand up to them, a willingness to testify in court and
a firm resolve to turn aside their message. Be educated. Be intelligent.
Common sense and a sharp mind can stop the hate.
