My Working World

These are the countries in which I worked as a consultant hydrogeologist (short- or long-term), presented a lecture and/or trained local professionals. In some I worked continuously for a long period of time (Iraq 2.5 years, Turkey 4 years, Venezuela 1 year, etc.); some countries I visited repeatedly many times (Venezuela at least ten times, China 5 times, Nepal 11 times, Jordan 10 times, Bermuda 10 times, UAE 5 times, etc.), and in some I spent only 6-7 days presenting a training course (Brazil, New Zealand, etc.).

Very often I am asked a question: "Which country did I like most?" None more than the other; it was a great satisfaction to be in either of these countries, and I really felt privileged to have been allowed to visit and work there.
