Two photos with 40 years in between!

The first photo is from Iraq in 1965. I was working there between 1963 and 1966 - designing and supervising drilling of wells. Photo was taken in Iraqi Kurdish territory. Local aga and his bodyguards just wanted lift. They were hitchhiking! The second photo is from Afghanistan, taken in May 2005 in Kabul. I did not have bodyguard. These friendly looking gentlemen were minister's bodyguards. I have changed in 40 years, haven't I?
