1981    Introduction to KATEE of Chalkis (Mechanical Engineering Dept.) in the 1st place.

1983    Introduction to Patras Polytechnic College (Civil Engineering Dept.) in the 4th place. Graduated with “Very Good” mark. A major task was the compilation of the ZUGBETRIEB train simulation software as a part of the thesis “Modern locomotion”. This is an accurate simulation of train dynamic behavior when running on a specific line, The program calculates timetables and outputs performance graphs depicting any desired operational parameter, including power and energy demands. The software was initially developed in Quick Basic and was later upgraded to Visual Basic in order to enhance functionality, usability and versatility.

1999    Certification by Hamburg Consult and Bechtel as Trainer for Maintenance Personnel

2000    Certification by ATTIKO METRO as Track Competent (eligible to work without supervision on and near the track)
