Hellenic State Railway Äá class

These 0-6-0T's were built for the United States Army Transportation Corps by US manufacturers Vulcan, Porter and Davenport. They were supplied to Greece after the war and became class Äá. They were used long after the end of steam in Salonica as heating locos.The last 2 are preserved in semi-working order in Salonica, while film star Äá68 was unfortunately scrapped in Athens.
