William H. Dunn was born in the United States on 25 March, 1867, the son of Irish immigrants, Edward Dunn and Ella _____. His father was from Cappoquin, Ireland and his mother from Midleton, County Cork. He worked as a silver smith for Smith, Hall & Miller in Wallingford, CT. He married Margaret J. Kennedy (1866-1934) on 30 December, 1897. William died from a combination of tuberculosis and influenza at the house of his mother-in-law, Mary Shannon Kennedy (262 Ward Street) on 13 August, 1900, only one week after the birth of his daughter, Marjorie H. Dunn (5 Ag 1900--Sept 1977).

Margaret Kennedy Dunn never remarried and died in 1934.
She was the godmother of William Allen Kennedy (1912--2000).

Marjorie H. Dunn may have married Frederick W. Sargeant (19 Mar 1917--10 Ag 1990) but the union ended in divorce. She died in 1977 and is buried with her parents at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Wallingford, CT.
