¡Hola! I have been teaching Spanish to elementary school
students in grades 1-5 in Livingston, New Jersey since the 1999-2000
school year. I firmly believe students should begin their study of
languages as early as possible. This year I am teaching at the
following schools: Riker Hill Elementary (all classes in grades 1-5),
Burnet Hill (with Sra. Heller). You will find a link here to the

Prior to teaching in Livingston, I taught Spanish at West Essex
Junior High to grade nine students. Most of my students at West Essex
began their study of the language in seventh grade; however, I also
had one class of special needs students who started to study Spanish
in grade nine. At this site you will find examples of what my
students from West Essex have done, as well as the lesson plans I
followed during the 1998-99 school year.
Additionally, I have taught graduate technology classes,
currently at Fairleigh Dickinson University , and previously through
the New Jersey City University field-based courses at West Essex, to
teachers from throughout New Jersey who are interested in learning
about Educational Technology and its integration into their classes.

My personal interests are varied, including technology, travel,
reading, music, dance, in addition to my love of everything Hispanic!
