This
site, dedicated to promoting and extending the work of René
Lézard, is a project of the Société Lézard,
with the participation of the PAS Club of San Francisco and the Center
for Narrative Inquiry and support from the Irrational Geographic Press.
The works of the Société are privately funded under
the auspices of the Center for Narrative Inquiry. These pages
are intended to both explore and express the ways we make meaning
from images, icons and signs as well as the nature and dynamics
of the web, webness, surfing, as mediating experiences. It is
also an exploration of the ways in which identity can be created
through pixels and hypertext. More than anything, the intent here
is play.
This
site is very image intensive and may take a really long time to
load.
