Martin Luther King jr.'s real birthday is on January 15th but it is celebrated as a national holiday on the monday of the third week in January.

What the Cultural Awareness Club did this year for Martin Luther King's Birthday was hang up posters with Martin Luther King's picture and accomplishments. Also everyone in the club recieved a copy of Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech. After this was done the President of the club gave a speech on the significance of Martin Luther King's legacy. Finally everyone in the club sighned a poster board with their names and their DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE.
