| Baba Deep Singh jee had the great
fortune of receiving Amrit from Guru Gobind Singh ji. He
was a brave warrior and an exemplary Gursikh. He wrote
many copies of Guru Granth Saheb Jee by hand. When the call of duty arose to protect the sanctity of Sri Darbaar Saheb, Amritsar, he gathered support of Sikhs in many villages and fought against the Mougal Army to liberate Sri Darbaar Saheb. Here he is seen drawing a line with his Khandaa (double edged sword) and asking those who were ready to give their lives fighting for the Guru, to step past this line and join him! |
