A calm sleepines
fell over Amanda and Samantha
and they started to fade off
as they listened to the words of the song.

The last words they heard
before silent sleep caressed them was...

Amanda and Samantha rolled and stirred
under their warm, comfy blankets
as light and sound filled the bedroom.

The clock radio clicked on
with the song "Butterfly" playing.

They groggily looked up at the radio
and blinked hard several times
to make sure of what they were seeing.

The digital time display
showed the time of 11:11 in the morning.

At that curious moment Grandma walked in.
"My, my! You girls sure did sleep
long and deep!
I'll have to give you eggnog more often."

The cobwebs started to clear
out of the girls' heads
and they turned to each other
with a quizzical look.
"Did we?.....Yep we did...."
