ANGEL WITH GOLDEN WINGS

You come to me an angel with golden wings

Lift me up and carry me away

Deliver me amongst the stars

I find shelter in your arms

Peace in your existence

You mend the cracks in me

If we land upon the moon

We can walk hand in hand

Talk of dreams and count the stars

And when I place a gentle kiss,

Upon your parted lips

The stars glow bright

And our hearts beat as one

Deliver me now into a dream

Where we lie together as one

Looking up at the stars

With a twinkle in our eyes

And a whisper on our breath

Content in every way

If only I could wake up

And find you there with me
