The Dream

The idea of the Titanic, was daydreamt at a dinner party hosted by Lord Pirrie, a partner in the firm of Harland and Wolff, a ship building company that built all the ships for the White Star Line. One of the most important people attending the party was J. Bruce Ismay. J. Bruce Ismay, tall, skinny with a wavy mustache, was the president of the White Star Line, a ship launching company. So these two companies worked together to create massive ships that would beat out any other ones.

At this dinner party, Thomas Andrews was attending it to. He designed ships before they were built. And the way he designed ships were very nice. Now the Titanic was all ready to start being built by Harland and Wolff, after the long dinner party with the discussion of many things on these three ships, the Olympic, Titanic, and Brittanic, a hospital ship. The Titanic was now born.
