Programming and Systems Experience

With full majors in Computer Science and Mathematics, I have well exceeded the passing standard (the first time through) of the state competency examinations in both subjects.   The exams were taken under the direction of the Michigan Department of Education and are on public record.  Master of Science completed in Educational Technology (with Highest Honors, Magna cum laude).  Programming (Internet and systems) and consulting with www.macrotuff.com currently.

Types of Programs: Financial statements, spreadsheet programming for accounting departments with both programming languages and canned spreadsheet programs (Excel & Lotus), graphics, forms (for data entry) programming, Customer billing, medical records,

VBASIC:  Windows PC coding:  Coded interactive programs, have written approximately 100 programs utilizing mathematics and graphics - movement of cursor, items in  motion access data base usage, scheduling, accounting, general graphics.
-Excel-Access data base and spreadsheet coding
-Coached the first place U of M Programming Contest team,
North Branch High School, North Branch, Michigan
2 years in a row (BASIC) and Ferris State Programming Contest      (VBASIC)
-Coded programs used by school system to place students, teachers         in career classes and scheduling rooms.
   SQL Server - Down/Up loading of data from/to PC/Mainframes.
Visual Basic with Access & Excel: More than a dozen LARGE data bases created with over 300 tables used for production of financial records and factory management.  Documentation and training manuals created - over 50 pages per project (10 projects)

COBOL coding: The University of Michigan & Hewlett-Packard

Taught COBOL programming skills to U of M employees
H-P employees, as well as formal students in
    education centers.
FORTRAN coding -  1974-1990
Graphics, spreadsheets, linear algebra, coded both
batch and interactive code, formula oriented, at least
100,000 lines of code.  Code written and used by
 Hewlett-Packard.
System routines and linkages, bit and byte manipulation
Also, taught programmers FORTRAN and COBOL in formal Classes.
