Needs Assessment

To meet our goal of integration of technology into all aspects of instruction and to realize our vision of helping all students become comfortable with and proficient in using technology , [School Name] High School needs to expand our network by adding ten computers so that each classroom will have access to at least one computer. In order to facilitate use of the computers by an entire class, we need a "rolling computer lab" which would consist of thirty laptop computers and two rolling carts for computer storage, and more network drops in each classroom. An onsite managed intranet would greatly improve teacher use of computer resources. Expanded computer resources, in the form of an online card catalog and an updated automated circulation program, must be made available in the library/media center. In order to maximize the benefits of the resources described above more training for teachers would be essential.
