Each year we attend the State Explorer Academy in which the Explorers spend five days in an academy environment. They attend seminars, training exercises, drill, perform in real life scenarios, and upon graduation, they receive awards, certificates, and are able to move onto the next "phase" the following year. There are a total of four "phases" each becoming more difficult and realistic.
