Letter 1809 to John and William Fryer, merchants at Wimborne Minster, Dorset: William Pardy, of Burin, said his supplies ordered last fall had not arrived, 'nor any letter and I wants to know the reason of it'. He wanted 'three pairs of shoes for myself and one gold wire ring and one dozen of St. Peter's fishing lines and four yards of Dobell mould swanskin'.
