Well, there was this one fabulous pastry shop. We just had to take photos. See those chocolate cake hedgehogs? On the right are chocolate cakes covered with luscious layers of folded chocolate. No, we actually didn't try any of these. |
Ummm. Pastry snakes. Aren't they cute? These were in an adjacent window of the same shop. I did have a pastry soaked in rum sauce and doused with whipped cream--one of life's special moments. |

Our Hotel in Rome for the last day and night was the Napoleon. It was really superb. If you stay there, make reservations to have dinner at the hotel. The wait staff is delightful. |
The Napoleon is situated on Vittoro Immanuel Square. It seemed to be a very active shopping area. |
