A Thousand Points of Light

Walking through time I encountered you,
Rushing through life our ways crossed,
There were hundreds of you,
Friends, Family, but mainly--just
people I've meet.

But one day someone dropped a bomb,
Something came to steal and destroy,
Something came to take you away,
Something came and invaded our world,
Something came and ripped you from me.

You're gone now,
Buried in the ground,
But you're not forgotten,
You are a "Thousand Points of Lights."

Dedication: To all who have died because of AIDS.

In loving rememberance of my cousin, he was truly a light in my life and he still shines in my heart. To his courage, his strength under persecution. He taught me much about life in his own quiet way.

Though he did not actually die of aids his life was taken very young. Sadly it could have been his life was touched by aids no one knows for sure. He could not bear this life any longer and chose to leave it...

Of all of the losses in my life in many ways his makes me the saddest. He was so young and had so much life to live. We were very close growing up in the last years of his life I did not live nearby and did not see him much. I will always regret that my busy life kept me from sharing and being with him when He needed me most....
Cuz :) where ever you are in this big universe, Your light still shines bright in my heart... Hanny loves you and thinks of you always....
