series book collectors around the world with nothing more than some simple software and an internet
connection!
Getting Started:
First, you will need an IRC program. My
favorite is mIRC. You can find out more about the program by going to the mIRC
page here. Or, you can download the newest
version (version 5.02)
here.
Just about everything you will need to know
about IRC you can find out at DALnet's page. I
recommend you visit their page to find out all the commands and services you can take advantage
of. Remember: you can only access the #SeriesBooks channel on DALnet!
Rules:
This channel is for people to people to trade
series book information, talk about their favorite series books, or just have a pleasant conversation
with people that have similar interests. Swearing and inappropriate topics are not allowed!
Anyone caught doing either will be politely warned, and if they persist will be be kicked and/or
banned. We want this experience to be as enjoyable as possible. People trying to ruin it will not be
tollerated.
