Biography

For more than 15 years, Darren has pursued his dream: photography.

Darren graduated from the Professional Photography Program at Langara College in 1988. During the day, Darren is the staff commercial photographer for a large retailer. During the night and weekends, Darren teaches, freelances, and photographs weddings. In the future, Darren plans to continue traveling the back roads in pursuit of "Deserted Lands".

"It fascinates me how the West was pioneered in the mid 1800’s. The towns, the farming, the forestry, and the quest for gold. I set out to document the stories, the buildings, and the history before they disappear."

Through all the roads traveled and all the shots taken, Darren is pleased to share his favourite images with you.
