The Mystical Rose Catholic Page is not associated with any organization; an individual has set it up and maintains it. �So it is technically a "personal home page". �Yet I find it hard to consider it such, since I have not posted my personal opinions on it; only the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church.

So I have set aside this section of the site to post my personal reflections. �Of course, they will be on religion-related topics, and will be informed by the teachings and worldview of the Catholic Church. �So you will find nothing here contrary to Catholic faith or morals. �But these articles will be some of my own thoughts on the world scene.

• The Original Home Page. �Want to see what an ugly eyesore this site was when first posted? I recently discovered an old printout of the index page from early 1997, soon after this site was launched. For fun, I decided to recreate that page as closely as possible, based on that printout and my memory. I had little HTML experience back then, so the original page was made with one of those "fill in the blanks" Basic Editors (and displays all the limitations of such utilities!). Now you can all see how truly awful this page originally looked before I knew what I was doing. Yes, it even used "blink" tags (as embarrassed as I am to admit it now!). It is really, really bad, so if you love living dangerously, then check it out! Warning: the page is bright red, so watch your eyes!
