Solitary Prose

The thoughts do dip into the blackest night
And thee to confront what seemed so right
But in the twisting turns of fate
Torn from my grasp...my love...too late

Oh..the sweetest marbled cloud
Prevents me from saying aloud
The pain and remose my heart doth breath
And there in the darkness..alone I grieve....

Softly drifting shadowy hands
    Clutch at heart's whimpering demands
Turning aside all flowery prose
To just one glimpse of torment grows

As the absence the being is rent
Falling upon a bandaged knee tis bent..
   Driving roads of stormy ways
Brings a notion of softer rays

When the time didst pass so sweet
And with a love to feel complete?
Dipping into life's strange brew
It seems that pain is nothing new.

Single solitary singing prose
Falls 'pon ears that are not those
One would wish to reach with a song
And in it's lyrics embrace along
