The SeaSide
Take a heart and try it to mend
With gentle words. Then softly tend
And watch the fertile seeds be sown
A heart once broken, can it again be grown?...
The willows bow with loves true breeze
And fall upon her bended knees;
To brush her lips against the ground
That holds her loves lost body down.
Tears that fall and wet the blades
Of the tombstone 'pon the verdant glades;
Refreshen soil of arid earth
And are as diamonds for all their worth....
