Eternal Cycle

A quiet solitary thought was I,
Till an interesting concept settled near by;
Stopped and whispered in my ear,
"A novel ideal do I have for you here".

"You are a single, golden, sunrise.
Emerald delight within those soft eyes,
I am an indigo-hued sunset
The deepest violets and blues you've met"

"Together we two could create quite a day.
Brightly colored mornings in which we would play.
Then as twilight would drift and trickle in;
A soft cloaked night would allow the dance to begin."

"United as Two", this idea did relay
A concept of us, and a 'We' and a 'They'.
A revolving cycle, a ring so complete
From Dusk till Dawn, eternity to repeat

Now two thoughts are wrapped as one
The deepest night and the brightest sun,
Completing each other, ever through time;
Tumbling e'er forward in their harmonious rhyme.
