Colors Of You

Swirling colors, palettes of light
Mixtures and shades of you in my night
Azures and cornflowered; Robins egg blue
Splatters my canvas, a minds point of view.

Dabble some emeralds, a kelly green dash
Goldens of sunshine, in an indigo splash
Slowly the tones and notes of the hue
Softly takes shape of the image of you.

Dancing violets and lilac and lace;
In no metered time; I've painted your face.
But missing still is the twinkle of an eye
It grows harder to brush as the time passes by.

So releasing all colors, all shades and all tints
I desperately try to recapture the hints
Of the Image of you, I did come to lose
But it cannot be done; I've no more colors to use.
