wonderful world of research!

You have two weeks
to complete a huge task:
|
|
Know Your Country
Inside Out!!!!
|
At the end of two weeks, you
will create:
1) a
PowerPoint presentation that includes specific information,
collected from a variety of
sources, about a country of your choice; and
2) a travel brochure
for your country, incorporating some of the information you
collect
During the course of this
research project, you will:
- investigate the geographic
location and features of your selected country
- determine the time zone of your
country and compare the time with South Carolina
- calculate the exchange rate
between the currency of your country and US
dollars
- investigate the primary language
of your country and get audio samples of the
language
- compile important historical
events of your country
- investigate the culture and
religion of your country
- read and be able to tell a
folktale or story of your country
- examine the food of your country
and prepare a recipe
- research a game that was created
in your country
- know the clothing worn by people
of your country
- present your research to
classmates in a PowerPoint presentation
- create a travel brochure for your
country
