The fair and just side of me grumbles that perhaps I should thank one or two people so I would like to thank my other five personalities who occasionally make an appearance, my friends for putting up with me, my acquaintances for occasionally acknowledging me, my ex-employers for making me realise how much I had to put up with when I was there, the AU govt for taking away a lot of my redundancy payout in the form of taxes, certain American multinationals for destroying the world's health and capacity for appreciating proper food, banks for charging me to withdraw my own money, the PRC govt for its even-handed approach to human rights, ditto for Myanmar, the US govt for covering up what really happened at Roswell, the NSA for eavesdropping on my e-mail, the Australian National University for now making me BUY course outlines, the LSE for proving why it is such a top class institution yet at the same time admitting virtually ANY overseas student if they were willing to pay their fees, Telstra for their "talk as long as you like for $20" specials which they have now stopped, no doubt due to mine and a particular chum's (hi Helen:)) abuse of it, Ali Baba's for a thoroughly flavoursome shish tawook with tahini sauce, St. Paul's Hospital for allowing me a cot to live in for the first x weeks of my life, A.A. Milne for providing much joy to people, Jonathon Dimbleby for a completely "unbiased" account of Chris Patten, PIC-FB (aka Martini Boy) for just being plain wonderful, Rick for proving to me that Poohsticks can be played with cardboard, the Cynic's Board regulars for providing me with entertainment and food for thought, James for waiting for 45mins and not listening to that homeless guy, Maggie for being the eternal lotto optimist, Av and Trina for being the other members of EBAC, DG1 for making completely wild predictions about my net activities and then becoming a convertee:), Luke Warm Tea for not writing but allowing me to colonise his noticeboard, Bhaskar for reminding me how Singaporeans speak (lah!), Richard for The Longest Shopping Day, Niki for showing me that rabbits eat shoes and metal window frames, Niall for Rupert, Ham&Egg, Sebastian, being my chaffeur and showing me how *not* to drive, Toni for allowing me to eat half her cookies without so much as a complaint, Bin for She Knows What, Herring Girl for the sheer endurance of having known me for over two decades, Sophia for teaching me that it is possible to know that the time difference between London and Canbera is 9 hours but conveniently forgetting this when she calls at 4am, Mr Irish Person for being the only person to properly appreciate my limited knowledge of things automotive and my 007 film poster collection, Helen for maxing out cordless phones in sympathy, "Sparky" for teaching me how NOT to manage my finances, my youngest sibling unit for not holding back in her contempt for my website, Olorin for putting up with her, my other sibling unit for making my site look good, Everyone Else whom I've neglected to mention at this point, and last but not least, to that anonymous server whose space I am now cluttering up........
