To assist with the publication of books and magazines in order to
              enhance community's understanding about animal welfare issues.

        To organise and popularise the setting up of veterinary health centres
              (consisting of a medical prophylactic unit, home and hotel for animals,
              a school for animal training and a sports centre) on the territory of
              Bulgaria.
 
            To assist and fund the establishment of veterinary surgeries and homes
              for homeless animals in every municipality in Bulgaria.

            To help and fund the training of veterinary surgeons abroad in order
              for them to gain better experience.

             To aid the setting up of an elite stock-breeding centre for dogs and
              aim for its inclusion as a member of the International Canine
              Organisation.

            To confer the award 'Friend of the Animals' on persons who have
              actively helped the BADL in the achievement of its objectives.
