A Dragon at World's End

A Dragon at World's End is the fifth book in Christopher Rowley's series about the battledragon Bazil Broketail and his dragonboy Relkin. In this work, Bazil and Relkin have been separated from the rest of their army, the 109th Marneri, and are attempting to get home. In their travels, they encounter the nomadic Ardu people, who are being kidnapped and enslaved by the wizard-elves of Mirchaz, and get caught up in a deadly game in which people are considered playing pieces. As in the first four books of the series (Bazil Broketail, A Sword for a Dragon, Dragons of War, and Battledragon) Rowley weaves a fast-paced yet engaging plot. Rowley's protagonists are also complex characters with distinct personalities. Overall, the series is an enjoyable experience. Rowley has also written another book in the same universe called The Wizard and the Floating City.
