Sun People and Moon People
I think there are basically two types of people in the world: sun people and moon
people. Sun people are energetic and practical. They are very grounded in reality and like
sports, history, and the news. They wear yellow gold, if they wear jewelry at all. Most of them
like to get up early and to go to bed early. Moon people, on the other hand, are dreamers. They
love silver and silver-colored metals; like twilight, moonlight, and sunsets; enjoy writing poetry,
and listening to New Age music. They see symbols in everything and are very intuitive. Most
like to sleep late and to go to bed late.
Although sun people and moon people are very different, they can get along well. For example,
my husband is a sun person while I am a moon person. We get along just fine because we
respect each other's different viewpoints and sleeping habits. On the other hand, I have had
many disagreements with fellow moon people because we are so similar that we assume we can
also read each other's minds.
Perhaps it is a matter of degree. Perhaps we need to have elements of both sun people and moon
people in order to be successful in life.
