Oops. I've fallen way, way behind in updating this log. Oh well. Let me see if I can remember some of the things I've read recently....

Books read for the first time: Most of the Harry Dresden series, by Jim Butcher (specifically Storm Front, Fool Moon, Grave Peril, Summer Knight, Death Masks, Blood Rights, Dead Beat, Proven Guilty, and White Knight), much of the Sir John Fielding series, by Bruce Alexander (Blind Justice; Murder in Grub Street; Watery Grave; Person or Persons Unknown, Jack, Knave and Fool; Death of a Colonial; The Color of Death; Smuggler's Moon; and An Experiment in Treason), and Culture Shock! Taiwan: A Survival Guide to Customs and Etiquette, by Chris and Ling-li Bates.

Books reread: The Fifth Elephant and much of the rest of the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett.

Current reading project: Becoming "Japanese": Colonial Taiwan and the Politics of Identity Formation, by Leo T.S. Ching.

There are probably a lot more books that belong in this log entry, but I can't recall them at the moment. Oh well.
