Goodbye usinfo.state.gov -- the last vestige of the U.S. Information Agency -- and hello America.gov. After more than four months of intense effort by writers, editors, Web page managers and other folks at the office, we launched our redesigned Web site today. We're still working out some glitches, but I think overall it looks really nice. I'm especially proud of the Houses of Worship photo gallery (link) and the "Meet the Shuttles" document (link) since they were written by yours truly.
