Verizon is really starting to make me angry
Verizon is digging up our neighborhood right now to install fiber optic cables. Although I look forward to getting a fiber optic system for our computers some day, I am not at all pleased right now. I don't think Verizon is coordinating their work with the utility companies -- twice now they have cut off the power to our house accidentally. I also don't think the Verizon workers are even coordinating among themselves; last night they severed the cable that provides our telephone and DSL service (both provided by Verizon)! We still have cell phone service so we can still communicate with people, but it took four calls to the customer service department before we could get to a human being to explain the problem. The representative said our phone and DSL should be back online by 9 p.m. tonight. If it isn't, I'm probably going to start writing angry letters asking for a refund of the service fees we paid for this month.
