Back from Vacation
Today was my first day back at work after being on vacation for two weeks. We flew from D.C. to Calgary, via Chicago, then rented a car and drove around the Canadian Rockies for eight days. Stayed at resorts near Emerald Lake and Banff, and visited Lake Louise, Morraine Lake, Takakkaw Falls, Bow River, the Athabasca Glacier and lots of other amazing places. After the eighth day, we got on a train for a two-day ride to Vancouver via Kamloops, then flew back to D.C. from Vancouver. The Rockies portion of our trip reminded Chris and me of our honeymoon cruise to Alaska (link) 12 years ago; with all the mountains and rivers, no matter which way you pointed your camera you would get a gorgeous picture. I'm still having a hard time adjusting back to life in D.C.!
