I go fishing with my family in our 1984 Larsen, powered by an Evenrude 75 hp outboard. I like catching fish but I don't like cleaning them!

I enjoy all sports, especially track & field and cross-country. My favorite football team is the Minnesota Vikings because I'm from Minnesota. In baseball I cheer for the Minnesota Twins because they develop their own talent instead of trying to buy a pennant.

I also do some genealogy, and have recorded a few generations of my family tree. My wife and I are researching the Birkholz family but we have run into a dead end. My grandfather immigrated to the United States from Gros Arlin (or Grosz Orleans), Poland, in 1908. At that time the area belonged to Russia. We have a copy of his immigration and naturalization records, but have not been able to locate Gros Arlins. We are also researching the Mabie family and would like to hear from anyone doing the same.
