:> I think you meant Polyamory (not even an -ism...)
Also... (sorry, just remembered this after i sent the previous...) Polyamory . the belief/philosophy that multiple partners, often though not exclusively sexually, is acceptable. Polyamory tends to focus around the basic tenet that one person can like, love, be attracted to, be involved with, and/or partners, etc. with more than one person. This does not imply that those who are polyamorous _require_ more than one partner in order to be satisfied or happy. As in any relationship, the general prinicples of full, open, honest communication must apply in order make it work. Polyamory is not the opposite of monogamy, any more than polytheism is the _opposite_ of monotheism. Polygamy (the correct spelling) is multiple spouses, indicating a contractual marriage. Monogamy is currently applied to both number of partners and number of spouses. Polyamory is not restricted to only one partner, as is often the case with polygamy, wherein one person has multiple spouses. ----- I hope this clears things up a bit. Feel free to post this on your web page, with credit if possible.
