by Sarah Ojeda Kimbrough
What are you doing little bird?
What are you doing little bird?
Making a nest so graceful as a star
What are you doing little bird?
Flying in the air so light as a leaf
What are you doing little bird?
Sarah Ojeda Kimbrough was seven years old on December 7, 1996, a pupil at the Washington Elementary School in Los Angeles, California in combined second and third grade. She still hasn't determined what she will be when she grows up, but what she's certain of is that "I am Filipino-American and I am going back to the Philippines for a visit. I like to draw and paint. That's all."
