Introduction

As I move into middle age, the subject of "Retirement Plan" occasionally crops up among friends of similar or older age. I become curious to find out what retirement means to different people, and in general how is the concept being understood. Furthermore, due to high commercialization, "retirement" is advertised to portray certain image that seems to be skewed and not wholesome. This creates a distorted view of retirement and thus it can become misleading.
