What is House Silver Heron?

House Silver Heron is a group of friends who camp, fight,
sing, party, have fun together, and generally act as a
household within the
East Kingdom of the
Society for Creative Anachronism.
The household was formed in A.S. XXVIII by Sir Sirhan al Cyani ibn Atai Akarel Diablu and Lady Anna Herald von Ossenhiem upon Sir Sirhan's knighting at Pennsic XXII.
House Silver Heron is based, geographically, in the Crown Province of �stgardr (New York City) of the East Kingdom (north-east US). Silver Heron resides together at Pennsic, recently with the Kingdom of Caid and also fights together as a unit in the battles at the Pennsic War, and is also even known to occationally sing, as a group, a certain silly old song.
Service is considdered to be of high importance to the Household, and those camping with us at Pennsic must perform at least one shift of service every other day, be it marshalling, security or working at chirurgens', heralds', newcomers' or trolls' points.
