Part A:

Assignment #1 is to obtain an e-mail account. If you have an e-mail account, go on to Part B. If you do not have an e-mail account, you may obtain one through the LSU TIGER system (using REGGIE - see your course catalog for more instructions) or through Geocities. The Geocities e-mail account is free, and can be accessed using Netscape.  The TIGER account must be accessed through TELNET.

Part B:

The second part of Assignment #1 is to obtain 2 MB of free webspace from Geocities. The Geocities homepage provides instructions on how to do this. You must obtain a site even if you already have a homepage on the web. If you already have a Geocities account, please speak with the instructor.

Part C:

The final part of Assignment #1 is to e-mail the instructor ([email protected]) with your Geocities address. Please put your name in the subject line and in the body of the message. The message must come from your own e-mail address (do not use a friend's account) in order for you to receive credit. Please be sure to type your Geocities address in the body of the message.
