hi. this is a very well put together sight, but i heard a conflicting story of Ganesh. the one i heard was that, Ganesh's head was detroyed by Shiva, the first thing she saw would be his new head. she saw an elephant, and reluctantly had its head placed n. being unfamiliar with stories from Hinduism, could you perhaps expand on it more?
