| Features: ¤ This is the basic ACM (Autonomous Combat Mech). This level 1 model is used for all standard ground assaults, forward base patrols, and sentry duty. ¤ The level 1 comes in various mission-specific types: � *�Platoon Leader (shown above) � *�Heavy Weapons Carrier � *�Special Weapons Carrier � *�Material Handler ¤ Units are identified by weapon color, or in the case of material handler variants, by design of utility arm units. ¤ ACM's are bio-mechanical constructs, employing advanced mechanical servo-systems linked through a neural net with an organic brain. Individual unit intelligence levels are dependant on the complexity of the cerebral cortex used. Levels 1 thru 4 are the least intelligent, with a minimal ability to adapt to any unexpected conditions. Levels 5 and up are highly intelligent, able to reason and adapt to rapidly changing combat conditions. ¤ ACM levels 1 thru 4 are increasingly larger units. Levels 5 thru 9 are smaller units, more closely resembling human forms, and are deployed as theater commanders, pilots, and any other task requiring higher intelligence. |
