History
Baldort comes from clan Whyfflewader, a very special clan in that they are genetically cursed to be green in some aspect (be it eyes, teeth, fingernails, etc). This arose when a certain uncle happened to "find" a magic item that released a powerful surge of wild magic onto the family reunion. Baldort has deep jungle green hair. He has undertaken many quests with adventurers over the years (he likes tagging along on interesting looking missions), including a human cleric, an irda mage, a half-elven fighter, a human paladin and many others. He hasn't been involved in a large scale campaign, as in the early years most of our adventures were kind of one session deals. Wanderlust claimed him at a very early age (16), and he left his parents (whom he hasn't heard from in years) to explore. He has attempted to single handedly take on an ogre mage (and won, thanks to his ring of invisibility, which he was rewarded with when he helped rid a kingdom of an outer planar creature menace). He has been to a lost city in a swamp and encountered a very large tribe of lizard men (here's where he got extremely lucky, 2 dozen lizard men were throwing spears at him as he was running down some stairs to catch up with the party and not one hit him!). In this lost city he found, in the lizard man treasure pile, a ring of vampiric regeneration (which he later found out was cursed to slowly change him into a vampire, only the cleric casting remove curse to get the ring off stopped this from happening) and a wand of magic missiles. The only reason that he got these was because the rest of the party was too scared to check out the pile after a monstrous trap found on a similar one earlier. While sneaking through a dragon's den he found the dagger +5 (the dragon was, unbeknowest to him, earlier charmed by the party mage). He has seen and heard the tarrasque pass (he would have liked to see and hear it closer, but the rest of the party tossed him in his portable hole (which he found on the person of the ogre mage he fought), folded it up and flew away on a charmed roc). He got the vorpal longsword from a sivac draconian who was seeking to lead a group of baz to attack a small town (this after some small children, in awe of the stories he told, asked him to get rid of the "nasty dracs", he actually had to fight it hand to hand for a while after he backstabbed it, and got hurt pretty bad. Luckily the baz were all drunk and started fighting one another (via taunt :). He got his boots of elvenkind in trade with an honest mage that was in our party (after he found a spellbook on an evil gnome illusionist/thief he killed when the party was rescuing a caravan). He's instigated a riot when he was captured and being led to a city jail, fought a troll from under a bridge, gotten lucky on a draw from a deck of many things (where his super high dexterity came from, a mage gave each party member a draw as a reward for tracking down a wayward servant who had stolen some of his work), and numerous other things that i can't quite remember but always color the little guy in my mind.
