Korean "Eagle 5 Brothers" toys

There seems to have been a recent resurgence in popularity for Gatchaman in Korea. The new incarnation, called "Eagle 5 Brothers" produced some really nice licensed toys. Everything from ships to figures to guns etc. were produced in or around 1996. They usually have nice box art and are of decent to above average quality.

The Sonokong toys are taken from the Gatchaman II series. The new Godphoenix (above left) looks really nice save it's one drawback: it's plastic. The Godphoenix included small models of G1, G2, G3 and the G5 Horned Tank. Oddly enough, they left out the G4 Swallow Helico. I suppose Jinpei had to walk. The figure set (above right) is composed of 5 really nice looking, somewhat articulated vinyl dolls. They measure in at around seven inches tall and each figure comes with a cape and removable plastic visor. Sonokong also made a model of the new Godphoenix (below left) that looks remarkably like the toy. It's box art is fantastic and the model is really well done. The Oil Pastel set (below right) no not appear to be a Sonokong product but since they are from the Korean version, I decided to include them here.
